2. Orders

• All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

• Orders are only confirmed once payment is received in full (unless agreed otherwise).

• We require at least  1 week for most cakes; some bespoke orders may need longer.

• Images on our website are for illustrative purposes — final products may vary slightly in appearance due to the handmade nature of our goods.

   

3. Prices & Payment

• All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT (if applicable).

• Payment can be made via PayPal, credit/debit card

• We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

   

4. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

• Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and other allergens. While we take care, we cannot guarantee any product is completely allergen-free.

• It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements before placing an order.

   

5. Collection & Delivery

• Delivery is available to [your delivery areas] for an additional fee.

• Delivery times are estimates — we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or events beyond our control.

• Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the order at the agreed time.

   

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the collection/delivery date for a refund.

• No refunds will be given for cancellations made after this time or for bespoke/custom orders once work has started.

• If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours so we can resolve it.

   

7. Online Shop Orders

When ordering directly from our online shop:

• You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, except for perishable items such as fresh cakes or pastries, which are exempt from cancellation once dispatched or made to order.

• Digital order confirmations and payment receipts will be emailed to you automatically.

• For non-perishable items (e.g., cake toppers, merchandise), goods must be returned unused and in original packaging for a refund. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty.

• If an item arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours with photos so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

   

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including images, text, and designs, is owned by The Fork Tales and may not be used without permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. Choux Bun Tower Display

• The choux bun tower is presented on a specially designed display stand, which is the property of The Fork Tales.

• Customers are kindly required to return the display stand within 7 days after the event or collection date.

• The display should be returned in good condition.

• Failure to return the display or returning it damaged may result in a replacement fee of 50£.
